The New London County Historical Society is the owner and copyright holder of all images, text and data bases on this web site, unless otherwise specified. Contributors to this web site retain their copyrights of text, images, photographs, drawings, artwork, data bases, etc.. Permission to use their copyrighted material must be obtained from the owner in writing.

All information, media, sound and images provided by New London County Historical Society’s (NLCHS) website is for the personal use of students, educators, scholars and the public. Any commercial use or publication is strictly prohibited without proper permission. Permission to view, use and copy information, media, sound and images for personal use delivered from this World Wide Web server is hereby granted, provided:

This site neither collects any information about any visitor nor does it set any cookies. The data we receive does not include any names, email addresses, geographic locations, IP numbers, or other information which might reveal visitors’ identities. The New London County Historical Society respects your online privacy and will not give your email address to any third party.

Privacy Policy. The only information that NLCHS obtains about a user to its Site is information supplied voluntarily by the user. This means that you can visit the NLCHS Site without identifying who you are or revealing any information about yourself. In order to serve you better, meet NLCHS’s goals, reporting requirements and gauge the effectiveness of the Site, NLCHS collects some general information about its users which does not individually identify anyone by email address or otherwise.
